A huge pro-Palestine protest has broken out in New York City, leading to multiple arrests and clashes with the NYPD.

The pro-Palestine march began in the city’s downtown region as thousands of protesters called for “Emergency Action for Al-Shifa Hospital”.

Many protesters are seen chanting “Free Palestine” as they collide with police trying to control the situation.
The protesters began circling City Hall, where New York City Mayor Eric Adams was believed to be attending an IFTAR event.

One of the guests invited to the IFTAR event was seen to be harassed and hounded by the protesters as they labelled him a “traitor”.
