This approach expands upon the idea of self-care by considering the interconnectedness of various aspects of a person's life. It recognizes that a person's well-being is influenced not only by physical health but also by emotional, mental, social, and spiritual factors.
Holistic self-care aims to address all of these interconnected areas to achieve a sense of overall wellness and balance. This might involve practices like yoga, tai chi, energy healing, spending time in nature, fostering healthy relationships, engaging in creative activities, and embracing a sense of purpose or spirituality.
This blog will briefly address the 4 pilers of holistic wellbeing and how self care in each of these areas could restore balance. Resulting in the individual feeling whole again.
