Wolkenkratzer - Shinpan no Tou (ヴォルケンクラッツァー 審判の塔) (1996, PSX)

Wolkenkratzer - Shinpan no Tou (Sky Scraper - The Tower of Trials) is an Action-RPG by Westone, which published by Asmik. You can choose between four classes and also distribute a few points to your attributes. The game plays somehow like a basic dungeon crawler, as it's mostly about fighting and improving stats and equipment, the focus is on combat. You do not move freely in the dungeon, but walk automatically to the next encounter where you battle a monster in a separate arena one-on-one. The action-oriented combat takes some elements from 3D fighting games like the way of dodging. If you succeed in a battle, you enter camp screen where you can rest and search the place for items, before heading to the next encounter.
