Ophir is a place where King Solomon got not only his gold, but sandalwood, ivory and peacocks. These items were abundant in ancient times in India and Ceylon island. So, it is highly unlikely that the Philippines is the one referred to in the Old Testament. Why would we believe in Spanish location of Ophir when they just first landed in the Philippines in 1521 while King Solomon was dated 10th century BC? It seems that those Spaniards had some vested interests in the financing of their voyages just like their claim of El Dorado location.
Enough said,.. I think you should really look into the 2.8 billion-year-old South African spheres. They seem to be metallic with a shell,. That cannot be scratched with metal. everything in the else in the area that's two 2.8 billion years old doesn't match in any way shape or form
