Higanbana (彼岸花) is a visual novel by Athena Corporation. Higanbana is the Japanese for lycoris radiata, commoly known as "red spider lily", among other names. As far as I can tell, the game is a port of the Playstation 2 game of the same name.
The game's protagonist is a woman called Arisa Rokujou. Someone sent her a ticket for the Shinkansen "Nozomi 45" anonymously. Arisa decides to take the train. She bonds with two other young women on the train. During their talk, they discover they all had been given a ticket to Kyoto unexspectedly, as well many slightly disturbing coincidences.
