Brie Larson was hired a few years ago by Kevin Feige to play Captain Marvel. Many people complained about Brie not showing emotion in the first installment of the Captain Marvel franchise. Why blame the actress for what the director wanted? There are some women who think smiling is showing signs of inner misogyny. Why smile because a man told you to do so? That's so silly.
Perhaps it is time to let Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau be best friends. Imagine Carol takes Monica to meet the Kree and they give Monica powers as well. Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel on the screen at the same time. Would that be enough for the backers of the petition to be satisfied?
