"There is a scene in Monty Python’s iconic film The Life of Brian in which Stan, a member of the People’s Front of Judea, expresses to his comrades his desire to become a woman and have babies. John Cleese’s character hilariously points to the lunacy of indulging Stan in the delusion that he will ever be able to give birth to a child...while many of us still find humour in the notion that a man can give birth, if Stan were alive today he would more than likely be a senior policy adviser to a western governments on transgender issues...Stan would be delighted to have lived to see the day that not only could men with gender dysphoria have their todgers chopped off by the state, but that in the near future transgender women will be provided with womb transplants, thus answering the Cleese character’s query on where Stan’s foetus would gestate."

"This sketch-within-a-movie did not come out of nowhere. In the video commentary for the film, John Cleese (Reg) explains that the scene was a satire on the proliferation of left-wing revolutionary parties in the United Kingdom during the period when the movie was written and shot."

"Monty Python legend Terry Gilliam has blasted 'ridiculous' Hollywood political correctness as 'superficial nonsense' in an interview. The British-American movie genius, who directed Monty Python and the Holy Grail, criticised the practice of selecting transgender actors to play transgender characters while in Cairo for the International Film Festival."

"Terry Gilliam has responded to the BBC diversity debate which referenced Monty Python by saying: 'I tell the world now I’m a black lesbian.'...Gilliam was commenting on the row over diversity triggered by the BBC’s unveiling of its new comedy programming...at which the BBC’s controller of comedy commissioning Shane Allen emphasised the corporation’s commitment to 'the stories that haven’t been told and the voices we haven’t yet heard'. In response to a question about Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Allen said: 'If you’re going to assemble a team now, it’s not going to be six Oxbridge white blokes. It’s going to be a diverse range of people who reflect the modern world.'"

"In an Iowa State University classroom recently, students began discussing the touchy issues of abortion and birth control when a student spoke up and declared those topics to be 'women’s issues.' Yet one dissatisfied student took to the university’s Campus Climate reporting website to complain that the discussion, which took place in September, was offensive to the trans community. According to the student, declaring abortion and birth control women-centric issues 'erases trans men and people who are non-binary who get abortions and/or use birth control.'"
