The ongoing Poverty in the Dominican Republic - Causes, Effect, and Solutions

Hi there! In this Documentary, I focus on who, where, and why there's still a large percentage of Dominicans living in poverty. You'll learn about what pensions are available for the elderly folk, and who in reality receives them in the midst of all the corruption.

Also, I'll focus on the ongoing issue about all the Dominican born Haitians, and how thousands of them have become stateless and victimized because of new Dominican laws and messy politics between DR and Haiti. You'll also experience guests in this video who's got very different views on how to go about helping the poor people - some like to donate while others put forth different solutions.

This is meant as an educational video, which should help especially foreigners decide in which way they would like to either look at the situation here or even how to go about helping the poorest down here. Enjoy! Brgds Mr.T
