Ninpen Manmaru (忍ペンまん丸) is 3D platformer developed by Tamtam and published Enix Corporation. It is based on the mange series Ninpen Manmaru the Ninja Penguin. Ninpen is sent by his sensei to go through a series of ninja obstacle courses. The emphasize of the game is on platforming. Although Ninpen carries a sword with him, he has no means of attack despite picking up the occasional object to through at enemies. So enemies usually need to be avoided while you find your way through the level to make it to the goal in time. At the end of each are in the game, there is a boss battle consisting of performing a certain task. For example, in the first you need to collect more coins inside an area than your opponent to win the fight.
