Firefighter Overcome by Emotion as He Sees in Color for First Time

A colorblind firefighter from Douglas County, Georgia, was given the ultimate gift by his colleagues on July 3 – a pair of glasses that allowed him to see color properly for the first time. Footage posted by Jordan Gardner shows the Douglas County Fire Department presenting a pair of EnChroma glasses to Spencer Caradine, who only recently discovered he was colorblind. The footage shows Caradine overcome with emotion as he puts the glasses on.
