Freak Out (1992, PC)

Freak Out is a puzzle game by German company Parsec Entertainment Software. The game is about aligning ball-shaped creatures, called Freaks, which come in different colours. The Freaks appear in the middle of each level's playing field. They can move around on the marked fields. A Freak can hop to the next field in the direction he's facing or be turned clockwise in 45 degree angles. Freaks may not jump over each other. Once three Freaks of the same colour are aligned horizontally or vertically, they dissolve. Some elements bring a bit of variation. Fields may be break and then cannot be used for a certain time. Sometimes they take a certain colour and can then only be occupied by Freaks of the same colour. Fields can contain ice, which renders a Freak immovable for a period of time, or bombs. the letter makes of Freaks in the field explode, which share the same colour as the Freak collecting the bomb.
The game came also out for the Amiga.
