Patristic Proof For The Filioque (St. Athanasius, St. Cyril of Alexandria, St. Gregory of Nyssa)
Many adherents of Eastern "Orthodoxy" will claim that the Filioque was 'invented', when it actually was taught by early church fathers (including several saints), contrary to what the "Orthodox" dishonestly claim. The Filioque is also proven in John 16. Eastern "Orthodoxy" is a series of false religions divided by ethnic lines. The "Orthodox" adhere to Palamism, which blasphemes God, denies His immutability & contradicts early church councils the "Orthodox" claim to accept, among its other heresies. The "Orthodox" need to convert to traditional Catholicism to have salvation. What's happening in Rome was prophesied. The Vatican II sect under Antipope Francis is a counterfeit — it's not the Catholic Church.

Early Church Fathers Who Taught the Filioque:
“... the Spirit, in turn, receives from the Son; 'He will take from what is mine', he says, 'and declare it to you' [John 16:14]... Therefore, since the Spirit has the same relation of nature and order with respect to the Son that the Son has with respect to the Father, how can the one who calls the Spirit a creature escape the necessity of thinking the same about the Son?” (St. Athanasius, First Epistle to Serapion #21, AD 357 (Khaled Anatolios, Athanasius, p. 220.)
“... Now he Only-Begotten Son is described as being 'from the Father' in Sacred Scripture, and thus far this expression establishes a property for him. But the Holy Spirit, even as he is said to be 'from the Father', is also attested to be 'from the Son.' 'For if any man has not the Spirit of Christ', says Scripture, 'then he does not belong to Him [i.e. the Spirit of God].' Therefore, the Spirit from God is also the Spirit of God. But the Son, although he is from God, yet neither is, nor is said to be, 'of the Spirit'; and [so] the relational sequence is not inverted.” (St. Gregory of Nyssa, 3rd Homily On The Lord's Prayer, 4th cent.; Migne, Patrologia Graeca, 46:1109A-C)
“Christ is believed to be from the Father, God from God, and the Spirit from Christ, from both” (St. Epiphianus, Ancoratus 67; PG 43 137B)

The 2nd Council of Nicaea is the Seventh Ecumenical Council of the early Christian church: a council that the Eastern "Orthodox" claim to accept. However, the 2nd Council of Nicaea taught three doctrines which the "Orthodox" reject: the Filioque, the Catholic view on the Divine Nature (refuting Palamism) & the Papacy. So, when the "Orthodox" claim to follow the Ecumenical Councils, they don't know what they're talking about. Eastern "Orthodoxy" is refuted by Nicaea II, in striking detail.
