Eight Is Enough - From the golden age of American Television a time when plain old goodness could still be found in the media but no longer. It seems the war mongers, greedy and the ignorant are predominating every where we look especially in New York. Those days were by no means perfect but the television back then showed a higher ideal and higher quality that we all should aspire to just listen to the song.
(Eight is enough was an American comedy-drama sitcom television series that aired on ABC from March 15, 1977 to May 23, 1981. The show was modeled on the life of syndicated newspaper columnist Tom Braden a real-life parent with eight children who wrote a book by the same title. The show was starring Dick Van Patten, Diana Hyland, Betty Buckley, Grant Goodeve, Lani O'Grady, Laurie Walters, Susan Richardson, Diane Kay, Connie Newton, Willie Aames, and Adam Rich. The executive producers were Philip Capice and Lee Rich. The producers were Robert L. Jacks, Gary Adelson, Greg Strangis and Phil Fehrle. The shows song was sung by the series co-star Grant Goodeve. The music was by Lee Holdridge and the lyrics by Molly-And Leikin.)
