Surviving Weimerika ep 33- Untying the Albanian knot with Cadmus & Drago

I sit down with Cadmus & Drago ( two representatives of (@thirdpositionalbania on Instagram& Fb:Pozicioni i trete Shqiptare ) to discuss the controversey surrounding Albanian nationalism: its relationship to the rest of Europe, the Ottoman rape baby question, the epic hero Skanderbeg, and Albanian pre-Christian tradition which potentially reach deep into Indo-European ( Illyrian traditions) It was a very revealing conversation which illuminated the crossroads of a warrior people which still reveals itself having an Aryan spirit under the years of occupation or forceful conversion to Islam. Despite all the turmoil and modern gangter culture the European spirit shines through in many Albanians. We will see what the future holds for Albanian nationalism. The Balkans are a never ending enigma that an American such as myself could never understand.
