The Allies are murdering Germans all the time, in addition to the 15 Million Germans they've murdered the first years after the war. I don't think New Berlin takes down pilots just for fun. This would not be characteristic for Germans, especially not for Nazis. But it's something Americans would do because "gangsters live in America," as Adolf Hitler said, after Jewish gangster Roosevelt called him that.
