A 45-year-old GRD jawan from Gadda, Botad, died of a heart attack
A 45-year-old GRD jawan living in Gordka village of Garhda taluk was on night duty and was on his way home after duty when he was attacked on the road. He was shifted to hospital for treatment. Where the doctor on duty declared him dead. The death of a GRD jawan in an attack has created an atmosphere of grief in the police bed.

There has been a steady increase in cases of death due to attacks in Gujarat. Then another incident has happened in Botad district. Kanji Kathadbhai Wala lives in Gordka village of Gahda taluk of Botad district who serves in GRD. At night, his job was at Tatum village in Garhda taluka and he was going to Gordka after completing his village duty. Then the attack came near the bus stand of Gordka village. Where he was shifted to the hospital for treatment, but the doctor declared him dead.

Most of the jawans serving in the GRD are engaged in day labor or other work and serve in the night GRD. Then 24 hours a day most of the GRD jawans are working day and night as per their need. The then deceased has a 21 year old son. Now Kanjibhai's family is in deep mourning due to his death.
