Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis (2003, Gamecube)

Resident Evil 3 - Nemesis (know as Biohazard 3 - Last Escape in Japan) is an action-adventure which was originally developed by Capcom for the Playstation. It was ported to Gamecube by Tose and published by Capcom. The game also came out for Dreamcast and PC.

Resident Evil 3 plays more or less parallel to Resident Evil 2, during the zombie outbreak in Raccoon City. You take the role of Jill Valentine, member of the S.T.A.R.S. unit of Raccoon City Police Department. Jill is one of the first game's protagonists. Jill is trapped in the city and needs to find a way out. Not long after she has left her hideout, Jill Encounters a horrifying creature called Nemesis who seems to be bound to kill members of the S.T.A.R.S. unit.

Gameplay is mostly the same as in the first two games. However, you do not have a choice between two characters to play and hence no varying storyline. A new feature is the option to produce your own ammunition. There are three different types of gun powder which can be crafted into different types of ammunition depending on the combination. This enables you set some focus, since you can decide if you want to have more ammo for the normal handgun or rather acid grenades for the grenade launcher.
At some points in the game, quick time events occur where you have a few seconds to decide which action out of several you want to do, for example choosing to fight Nemesis or trying to run away at once.
