Pumuckls is a popular character from a series of children's books in Germany. He is a small Kobold who can turn invisible. The game is based on one of the TV adaptions. In this TV series, Pumuckl has got an opponent called the Blue Klabauter. In Pumuckls Abenteuer im Geisterschloss, the Blue Klabauter has lured Pumuckl to haunted castle where he traps him. All ghosts in the castle - except for three. have been convinced by the Blue Klabauter that Pumuckl is their enemy. The remaining three ghosts have been imprisoned. Pumuckl must now free the ghosts and use their help to free the castle from the Blue Klabauter's grip.
