Die Krone des Midas ("The Crown of Midas") is a point-and-click adventure game developed by German company Independent Arts and published by German company SevenOne Intermedia. It was also released for Wii and Playstation 2. To the best of my knowledge, the DS version was released in German language only, while the Wii version was released in English.

You play a young student called Stephan who has started a side job as a night guard at a natural history museum. The first night does not start promising, as he has to present when his boss fires his predecessor, and just after the former night guard leaves, strange things start to happen at the museum.
