Louisville, Kentucky. —
The Louisville Metro Police Department released body camera (2) and details, also Chief Conrad give his remarks of an officer-involved shooting that happened just last night May 19-2020 at around 1:40 a.m.
Lt. Ted Eidem said in a press conference Officer Patrick Dahlgren approached a vehicle on a service road near the 6900 block of Bardstown Road.
Dahlgren said he smelled marijuana and could see it in the vehicle.
Commander of PIU said said Decedric Binford, 18, got out of the vehicle, and Dahlgren patted him down for weapons. Binford then asked to get something from his car.
According to police, when the backup officer, Trevor Troutman, arrived, Binford began digging deeper into his vehicle.
Binford was asked to stop digging, leading to a struggle, police said.
Lt. Ted Eidem said said said Binford then fired a gun he had gotten from his vehicle -- hitting Dahlgren in the shoulder at "very close" range.
Officials said Binford took off running and fired another shot at officers, prompting Dahlgren and Troutman to each fire four shots. Binford was struck once, but kept running, police said.
He eventually collapsed and was taken into police custody. He was then taken to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both Dahlgren was treated for a graze wound and released from the hospital. Troutman was not hurt.
Binford is being charged with attempted murder of a police officer, fleeing from police and trafficking marijuana.
Conrad said that the release of body camera video "this early" upholds his departments promise to be transparent.

✅My entire channel has been demonetized.
YouTube qualified my videos of "reused content" "Reused content
Repurposing someone else's content without adding significant original commentary or educational value"
As if I publish someone else content when someone else is the government, police department, District Attorney, content that they released to the media for "us" to publish them. I take my content directly from the authorities, exactly where the corporate media also are taking it. But they are fully monetized. I edit each videos sometimes spend hours make it better for the viewer. I tend to think they treat me differently because as the CEO of YouTube said in a private conference " to fight fake news, we push down the fake news, we are demoting it, and we push up the authoritative news and we are promoting it" .https://youtu.be/ZuVM-kG5tQw?t=42.
