Three-Year-Old Disney Princess Dances With Grandpa Who Has Alzheimer's

A dance between a 3-year-old and her grandfather, who has Alzheimer’s disease, was caught on camera on February 23. The video, posted to Facebook by marine Dean Evans – who can be seen supporting his father by the arms – shows the little girl in a princess dress holding the hands of her grandfather. “She wanted him to go to a ball with her so she grabbed her Disney dress,” Evans said in a Facebook post. “Melts my heart. My dad has Alzheimer’s and dementia and Parkinson’s only 66 years old.” The pair dances to the Beauty and the Beast song “Tale As Old As Time,” sung by John Legend and Ariana Grande. Evans’s younger son also makes an appearance in the footage, which received thousands of comments and shares.
