Let's Play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel - Part 13 - The Zapped Trilogy

In this trilogy of side jobs, Janey wants to teach us about laser guns, a new addition to the series exclusive to this game. It's like E-tech, but better. We already know how to use them since I still have ExcaliBastard, but we're getting paid for learning a trio of tutorials so let's do it. Laser guns are elemental only so we're also going to learn how to use each element efficiently. Fire element works differently in the Pre-Sequel due to lots of areas without oxygen. As science will tell you, fire needs oxygen to burn. No oxygen? No flame. Indoor areas already have oxygen, but for outdoor areas, you'll need to find a machine that can produce an atmosphere barrier and turn it on. Cryo is a new element. You can freeze enemies solid and then give them a good whack to shatter them. Corrosive works like it always does, dealing major damage to armored enemies that other damage types cannot. Before Janey can modify the laser gun to do shock damage, which is for draining shields and stunning enemies in place, Mr. Torgue chimes in with the fact that he's had it up to here with laser guns so the side job is hijacked so we can destroy the laser gun with a fantastic bang.
