I lived on the island of Negros in The Philippines for a short time in 2014, in Bacolod City. Dumaguete City, on the other side of the island, was already known as an attractive place for retired foreigners. Now Dumaguete is well known globally because of a handful of very successful YouTube creators. I finally got to visit Dumaguete and look for myself. I enjoyed my visit.
