Projections back in March month were wrong. Here are the real numbers.

This updated bar chart race shows the number of Covid-19 deaths compared to other causes of death. From the the first death occured until 25th July. Also shown is the percentage Covid-19 deaths of total deaths listed here.

Note: There are more deaths and causes of deaths than listed here. The percentage is lower if those were included.
Numbers are calculated as daily average over 1 year of time. Most numbers are from 2017, so the Covid-19 deaths are compared to under "normal" circumstances.
The flu number is an estimate (CDC/WHO), not reported or from diagnoses.
The number of Covid-19 deaths are the official ones. The real number may, and probably is, under reported in some countries and over reported in others.
