One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says she hopes her legal case "fighting a dictatorial government in Palaszczuk" over its border closures will be up and running within three weeks.
Ms Hanson has been calling for Queensland tourism operators to join the suit as plaintiffs arguing the state's strict border closures violates Section 92 of the Australian Constitution.
The Constitution recognises "trade, commerce, and intercourse among the states, whether by means of internal carriage or ocean navigation, shall be absolutely free".
Senator Hanson said a number of potential plaintiffs have put their name forward with the case becoming so large she was forced to get another legal team to assist with the matter.
She said a letter drafted by Senior Counsel Guy Reynolds was set to be sent directly to Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk either on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning.
The case will not only argue the border closures' illegality under Section 92 of the constitution but also under Section 117 which says "a State shall not make or enforce any law abridging any privilege or immunity of citizens of other States of the Commonwealth".
Senator Hanson told Sky News host Chris Kenny her decision to proceed with the case is "not about politics, this is not about One Nation," but it's about fighting a "dictatorial government".
"It's not about leadership, this is about dictatorship".
