Hohenthanner Blau Weisse Hallertauer Craft Bier 4.0/5

This is a very interesting hefeweizen. Very light but complex initial hit up front with a fast middle and a dry crisp and clean finish. The nose was nice and beery w a hint of smoke. I see the term Grassy tossed around a lot I haven't tasted it until now.There's even a citrusy twist in there. It's is a very complex beer but only if your looking for it. Otherwise this is just a very nice, light on the palate smooth beverage. Running an ABV of 5.6 the IBUs were less than 10 as expected with a hefe even tho it has a 4 hop(top and bottom hopped) blend and the SRM is 6 owing to it's nice orange/gold color. I really enjoyed this beer. Very drinkable and enjoyable. It might be a touch sweet but not so you'd notice if you weren't looking.
