pushing_black • 3 Grand Jurors in Breonna Taylor’s case have filed a petition to impeach Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron for knowingly lying to and misleading the public about the jury proceedings to “satisfy his political ambitions.” “The petition also calls for Cameron’s removal for ‘incitement and support of insurrection and violence,’ over his involvement with a Republican organization that paid for robocalls encouraging citizens to participate in the Jan. 6 demonstration at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington” (AtlantaBlackStar.com)

We covered Daniel Cameron’s dishonest characterizations and unjust steering of the grand jury which was never presented any possible murder or manslaughter charges during the entire grand jury process. Unfortunately, the impeachment doesn’t have much of a chance of going anywhere since the Kentucky state house of representatives and senate are controlled by a Republican majority. Cameron is a rising star of the Republican party and has been mentored by Mitch McConnell. They aren’t about to stand up for Black people to address his anti-Black actions. Still, this petition brings attention back to the unjustifiable killing of Breonna Taylor at the hands of police forces overly eager to harass, brutalize, and kill Black people. Justice must be served.

If he wasn’t Mitch McConnell grandson in law, and married to a black womanly, yup Breonna would have had justice by now!!! He was having he wedding shower when folks were peaceful protesting. He had the protestors arrested cause his white fiancée, who is Mitch McConnell grand daughter didn’t like them quietly protesting in his neighborhood.
