They encouraged Exxon to sell their oil interests to Petrochina in order to comply with their ESG requirements. BlackRock also holds shares in Petrochina.

In the back half of the clip Larry Fink actually says markets like totalitarian regimes because they provide greater certainty.

Blackrock manage tens of billions dollars worth of Australian companies thanks to compulsory superannuation.

This is just another example of how power is being more and more centralized in the hands of unelected overlords.
