David Gideon was a friend of mine and a great musician & vocalist. Sadly he passed away a few days ago, in what could be described as a freak accident, illuminating how fragile life is on the Earth Plane. I had already broadcast these sessions as one of the 'Album @ Eight' show episodes on Radio Foxton, from June 8th 2023, where it is still on rotation. However, at Shannon's request, I have decided to upload it here as there might be many of Dave's friends who are looking for - or haven't heard - these sessions. I got to know Dave well, through the Nelson music scene of the late 90's and last spoke to him on the phone about 18 months ago, he was talking about sending the radio station some of his new material. I play lead guitar on some of these tracks, and there is also a guest solo from Billy TK (snr). RIP Dave! Keep smokin' that ghost pot!
