If you use ethyl alcohol hand sanitizer, the only thing you distill is ethanol and a little water.

The ethanol is for laboratory and fuel purposes only! The ethanol has no methanol. Ethanol is good for Sodium Borohydride reductions(while methanol will ruin it). Ethanol is good for aluminum galinstan reductive amination. Put blue food coloring and warning labels on the ethanol.
