Instead of just passing a one sentence bill giving Americans desperately needed relief money, the House decided it was going to do what they always do and they played politics with it.

Pelosi called for unanimous consent, instead of a straight vote. That means, if one person objects, it fails. The Republicans wanted to remove billions in foreign aid spending from the Omnibus spending bill they just passed, and Democrats said no, so the Republicans said no on the $2k.

They're all playing politics while we sit out here with our dicks in the wind. They're laughing at us. They don't care. They're still collecting their paychecks.
