Former Victoria Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says the “stunts” and “silly games” that Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese is playing at “discredits” him and the party.
The purpose of the National Security Committee meeting on Thursday was to formulate a plan responding to the impact of a global pandemic on the coronavirus,
However, Scott Morrison said the meeting was compromised because Labor “chose politics” over a coronavirus plan and interrupted the meeting seven times.
Sky News Contributor Nicholas Reece said Tony Abbott's opposition “refused to offer pairs” when someone from the Labor party had to go to a funeral.
He claimed the Prime Minister was “crying crocodile tears” when he criticised the opposition for deliberately disturbing the crisis meeting because Scott Morrison was a part of a previous opposition that did exactly that.
However, Former Speaker and Liberal MP Bronwyn Bishop said, the discussions "were about solving the disease problem which has the potential to cause lots of funerals, and to make that comparison is cheap”.
