Arizona Forensic Audit Update with AZ Audit Liaison Ken Bennett
"The AZ election audit (which is unprecedented in US elections) is making national news. Experts say it is a non-credible effort to fuel doubts about the 2020 race. I had go down and see it for myself because I don't believe the biased reports. I was right to doubt. Here's what I saw."
KFYI's talk show host, James T. Harris, took a tour of the Arizona audit and spoke with AZ audit liaison, Ken Bennett. Bennett broke down why the AZ audit is being conducted and what the auditors are looking for. May 11, 2021.

May 11, 2021 Email response from Mark Finchem Re: Sine Die, which says:
“Are you aware that all of the election related statutes designed to stop fraud in the future that we have passed cannot take effect until 90 after we sine die? In order to not sine die, we must have agreement of 31 members agree in the House and 16 in the Senate, the Senate must also agree to recess until such time as the audit report is made available. That means that we will need some Democrats to side with that question. The down side of this is a delay in the effective date of all legislation.”
Our understanding is that this is not correct, and we've received no additional reply. We have been told no Democrats are needed if all Republicans vote. We have the majority in the House and the Senate.
Under the Rules of the Arizona House of Representatives 55th Legislature, 2021-2022, Rule 2, Annual Sessions, it states:
"A. Except as provided herein, regular sessions shall be adjourned sine die no later than Saturday of the week in which the one hundredth day from the beginning of each regular session falls. The Speaker may by declaration authorize the extension of the session for a period not to exceed seven additional days. Thereafter the session can be extended only by a majority vote of the House."
You can read the rules here: https://www.azhouse.gov/alispdfs/55th_Legislature_Rules_as_amended.pdf
The AZ Legislature website does not have the updated 55th Legislature Senate Rules but does have last year’s, which says the same thing.
We are told they are working on the Budget now.
Where are our Legislators and why haven't we received answers?
We must be assured they do not adjourn their session.
Please, please email them all AGAIN. We must demand this issue be addressed. You can find a template, addresses, and more information at this link: https://t.me/ArizonaRedRoots/869

May 7, 2021 Audit Liaison Ken Bennett Responds to SoS Katie Hobbs:
“With all due respect, [your letter] reads like a political press release calculated to undermine a process that you have opposed since its inception. You will surely recall that when the audit was in the planning stages, the Senates representatives extended invitations to you and your fellow Democrats to collaborate in the formulation of audit procedures, which you rebuffed. My first act as the Senate Liaison was to reach out to the AZ Democratic Party to ask for a Democrat Co-Liaison to work beside me throughout the audit, which was rejected 3 times. … Needless to say, these rejections detract from the credibility of your professed interest in the conduct of the audit.
“Your decision to wait to send your letter until right after signing your settlement agreement demonstrates a degree of bad faith. You clearly had these concerns before signing the settlement agreement, and you could have raised them with us or incorporated them into the agreement before releasing your claims. Pursuant to Sections 2 and 3 of the Settlement Agreement, inter alia, you agreed to release all claims advanced in the litigation, including your claims that the auditor’s policies are legally inadequate or not “consistent with state and federal statutory and constitutional law and the EPM, including with respect to the security and integrity of ballots and election equipment.” (See Motion to Intervene filed on April 28th, 2021, page 8, inter alia.) Therefore, to the extent that you still question the adequacy of the auditor’s policies, you have released those claims; and to the extent that your letter implies that you intend to take any further legal action on that basis, you are in breach of the Settlement Agreement. […]
"As to your other concerns of risk, confusion, errors, and disregard of best practices, I suggest that these are opinions of your observers, with which I respectfully disagree. You have personally referred to this audit as a “Fraudit”, which confirms a bias and, therefore, lack of credibility far beyond the lack of credibility you assert. I can only believe that your bias is being
transmitted through the observers you send. Still, we welcome them and their input on how to make the audit successful."
