Potion Craft - Early Gameplay
Here's some early access gameplay of an upcoming game called Potion Craft. It's a fairly relaxing shop and resource management game about crafting potions to sell, developed by niceplay games and published by tinyBuild. I was given a free key to this early version by tinyBuild, probably in error. Some of you should go buy the game when it's available so that the devs and tinyBuild won't feel too bad about this mistake.
The game is going to become available for purchase on Steam 21st of September, 2021. Here:

The gameplay surprisingly revolves around the concept of potion crafting and it works like this:
The potential potion effects are laid out all around a default starting position on a simple map. Each ingredient in the game has it's own unique course it will plot on the map if added in the cauldron and this path can be further altered by using the mortar and pestle to grind it first. Stirring the soup causes the potion to travel on that set path, while diluting it with water brings the potion back towards the starting point in a straight line.
The goal is to navigate past the hazards that ruin the potion to reach the wanted effect on the map and the closer you hit the center of the effect the more powerful the potion. Heating up the cauldron will lock the effect and allows you to either finish the potion or keep moving around the map to add more effects into one concoction.
If you created the potion in a very efficient way you can then save the recipe for quick brewing it in the future and you can even customise the look of the bottle, for fun.
You sell the finished potions or poisons to your endless lines of customers and maybe haggle over the price if you need the dough more than you need people liking you. Or deny customers service entirely if you don't like what you think they'll use the stu..
