This video explains what Zionism is. Many people like to define Zionism. For Anti Semitics Zionism equals “The Jewish Plan for world domination.” Many label Jews Zionist and their intent is to cause panic and a Conspiracy Theory that the Jews are in control of the entire world.
The word "Zionism" was coined by Jewish nationalist Nathan Birnbaum in 1893.
Jews in Eastern Europe, having experienced centuries of persecution and suspecting more was coming, began to plan a return to Jerusalem to reestablish the nation of Israel. Zion is the traditional name for one of the hills in Jerusalem, the "City of Peace." Zion is also a reference to the City of David: Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the spiritual center of the Jewish universe, the Holy Land given to Abraham and his descendants forever. Ever since the destruction of their beloved Temple in 70 AD, the
Jews have longed to return, to reestablish the "Land of Israel."
