My latest unboxing and review video of the Hornby Duck that is a GWR Pannier Tank from the Thomas and Friends range. This one is a 2006 stamped model and I believe that Duck was first released in earlier 1986 until the model was discontinued in 2011. Hornby did announce that they are not going to make the Thomas and Friends range after 2018. So it will be unlikely that Hornby will ever make this model train again unfortunately.
The model is very nice and clearly represents Duck's happy and cheerful face as he was one of the happier engines in the early television series. However he can sometimes take it personal when Diesel the shunter disliked him in the "Pop Goes The Diesel" and "Diesel's Devious Deed" where he told lies about poor Duck where Gordon, James and Henry turned against Duck without knowing the facts. Anyway enough of that because I am covering the model, not the program.
The Hornby model is a nice replica and I do prefer it to the other makers that make a similar model other scales. The performance is okay but due to problems with my track when I am in the process of fixing and I hope it will be solved by the time I do the next video. That lead to random derailments which I do apologise for
