Power Distribution Industrial Transformer for Construction and Plant Maintenance
Made in Texas
The Larson Electronics MPD-CD1-BS.25AB-DE15YT-CG-1.C04-2.L22-4.N09-U2-M1 temporary power distribution system converts three-phase 480V AC Delta electrical current into three-phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.
The MPD-CD1-BS.25AB-DE15YT-CG-1.C04-2.L22-4.N09-U2-M1 temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt equipment from a single system.
Operation:
• Primary Voltage: 3-phase 480V AC, Delta
• Primary Receptacles: N/A
• Transformer: 15KVA 480V to 208Y/120V 3PH N3R
• Secondary Voltage: 3-phase 208Y/120 AC, Wye
• Secondary Receptacles: (1) CS6369 California Std Twist-Lock [125/250V]; (2) L14-30R NEMA Twist-Lock [250V]; (4) 5-20R NEMA DPLX [125V]
Protective Construction: A weatherproof flip cover at the front of the unit can be lifted upwards via an accessible handle, which serves as protection for (primary and secondary) breakers and receptacles in rugged environments when deployed at the site. Operators may access locks on the door and on the ears (accessible from the inside of the lid) of the panel. The panel can be positioned upwards and locked in place for easy access to receptacles and breakers. A drain plug on the panel helps the power distribution system achieve a NEMA 3R rating, allowing the unit to be used in both indoor and outdoor locations.
The transformer is protected by vibration isolators that reduce damage to exterior jacket of wiring components and decrease noise during operation. In MGL-style power distribution systems, the presence of vibration isolators ensures wiring between the transformer and panel is well protected and does not have to be frequently replaced. Vibration isolators can also be found on the breakers, which protect the breakers from damage, prevent loose bolts/nuts and reduce overall noise during use in the field.
