A portion of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, collapsed after a large vessel collided with it early on Tuesday morning, 26th March 2024. The large boat crashed into the bridge, catching on fire before sinking and causing multiple vehicles to fall into the water below. The ship would have been piloted by a local harbour pilot, so I suspect an Affirmative Action lowering of standards.
