Running Wire Pt 9 More Conduit For Yard Light & Door Opener

PVC Conduit is easily managed as long as there is something to support it. When it gets warm it sags. When it sags, instead of supporting the wire it is suspended by it. Losing the reason for it in the first place.
I have long planned to have angle iron braces across the gap between the rafters to support the garage door opener. The original intent was to have the wire follow the wall and go up the beams and cross the rafters to the lights. If I had done that I would have had to use a lot more conduit and wire to reach the lights. It also would have required another run to reach the door opener.
By going across the center of the roof with the angle iron supports I can make a shorter run, add more circuits with less material and add strength to the frame of the building.
Tying the bottom of the rafters in a latice and having the roof panels tying the top of the rafters, I can keep them from racking or twisting under load. Worthwhile efforts in all respects. 😁👴😎
