This is the foxhole called for under German defense doctrine when occupying an area for a short period of time. Over time these positions are suppose to be joined together into a trench line. I recommend combining ideas from this doctrine with current US doctrine for 2-Man Foxholes and fighting positions. Things like the thick parapets and sloped sides and very good ideas to copy.
