These two audio/video mashups are based off of two different Ray Bradbury theatre episodes.
The first mashup was created from an episode called "Usher II," and has a strong anti book burning theme that is themetically reinforced in my mashup and montage.
The second mashup is called "Dangerous Memory," and is based off of the the Ray Bradbury Theatres' episode titled "The Chicago Abyss," the themes explored in the episode explored a world similar to our current dystopian world;
Bradbury explored ideas of book burning, cancel culture, and fascism, and in these mashups I focus on these themes.
Ray Bradbury remains one of the worlds greatest recognized science fiction authors, and is certainly one of the greatest writers from the 20th century.
Many favorite Ray Bradbury quotes are used in the video mashup, including: "You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them."
