Delta variant - no difference according to pathology, so how are politicians finding "Delta cases"?

Australia - Recorded conversation inquiry to a pathology laboratory paints a picture of lies and deceit portrayed yet again by the spin doctors in power. There are no records available differentiating covid-19 from DELTA, so how is NSW puppet master Glady quoting "delta" figures of mayhem engulfing NSW when they do not exist?
Pathology conducting tests for NSW was asked, "how do you differentiate between normal covid and the delta variant", answered "we don't". Asked, "how is the Premier citing delta cases vs normal crona cases", Answer, "you'll have to ask them".
