Police in Canada are investigating an altercation involving an unidentified black woman who swung a puppy as a weapon on July 1st, reportedly for being cut off in the drive-thru. A motorist shot the incident. It shows an unidentified Black woman taking the dog from its owner and beating her over the head.
Neither of the women wanted to press assault charges, but following the backlash surrounding the video on social media, Halifax Police said they are investigating the crime as animal cruelty.
