CORPSE-PARTY-0 Demo: Neo Plays a WIP Remake of CORPSE-PARTY ZERO

Having completed "Corpse Party: Book of Shadows" but not having any new official games to play after that, Neosekken decides that it might be fun to check out more Corpse Party fan games, and as he's looking over his options he decides to check out the demo of a remake of the Corpse Party fan game 'CORPSE-PARTY-ZERO", a game that Neo already covered in the not-too-distant past.

Since the original game's release back more than a decade ago back in June 4th, 2007 (with an English translation provided by "Memories of Fear" being released in September 23rd, 2012), the team that made CORPSE-PARTY-ZERO decided to get back together and work on creating an expansion of the game similar to what "Corpse Party: Blood Covered" did for "Corpse Party: PC-98", which they titled "CORPSE-PARTY-0". The expansion's goal was to implement four new characters to the original story, all of whom were mentioned in Name Tags for Corpse Party: Blood Covered, while also altering the story to accomodate other changes, such as ending ranks being included. Character artwork would also be redone, giving already existing characters updated appearances, and some characters are even made slightly older than in the original game.

The demo for this game has supposedly been in the works since October 2010, but as of this video being recorded and published Neo has been unable to find any new updated builds of the demo itself, or even any news on the game's development. Given the apparent lack of any updates of the game's development since the developers released their first build of the demo on their message board back in October 2012, with it having been almost 7 years since that time, Neo speculates that CORPSE-PARTY-0 may very well be a case of abandonware. Neo hopes this isn't the case, but given the notable lack of evidence of further development of the game he sees little reason to assume otherwise...

Reasoning with himself that since his assumption that CORPSE-PARTY-0 has likely become abandonware at some point is most likely to be correct, he'd have no reason to NOT play the English demo that's currently available (curtesy of Memories of Fear's translation of the Japanese demo) since the chances he'll ever get to play a completed version of the remake are very slim at best, and it'd likely be years still if by some miracle he DID find himself playing the completed version someday. So why wait to get a taste of what this remake potentially has to offer given the circumstances?

And so Neo decides to download and boot the demo up, eager to compare the differences the demo would have to the original game...
