Before this year I maybe attempted digital art 5-10 times over 4-5 years. Yes thats terrible I know, but then I went to Uni, had a few epiphanies and decided to see what would happen if I applied myself, for real.

Before this year I maybe attempted digital art 5-10 times over 4-5 years. Yes thats terrible I know, but then I went to Uni, had a few epiphanies and decided to see what would happen if I applied myself, for real.
Thought I'd squash everything and provide the one key lesson I'd choose to pass on at the end.
I post a lot on my Instagram and here, I originally started doing it because I thought if my friends or someone saw someone else drop everything and just focused on themselves; what was actually possible in a short space of time with regard to improvement.
Was a win win because now I'm knee deep in this art thing aha'
I used to just tell them or provide suggestions but I learned the hard way that people just don't want to listen unless you can prove it right then and there or you've 'already made it', whatever that means.
I did eventually and have greatly adapted how I pass on my ideas to people. But I'll share that another time. I wrote a whole essay on that lol.
No not using art just yet though :p
