5/11/2022 The hunger games have started ladies and gentlemen. This is what it looks like in the beginning. And it has clearly begun! 7 people died, and 231 were wounded. The political crisis in Sri Lanka follows the worst economic crisis since independence in 1948. It is caused by a shortage of foreign exchange resulting from the restriction of tourist flow due to the coronavirus pandemic, as a result of which the country cannot purchase enough fuel. There is an acute shortage of food and basic necessities, fuel, and gas in the country. Many parts of Sri Lanka are facing constant power outages due to the lack of foreign exchange to import fuel.
