The Great Suffrage Parade of 1913
On the afternoon of March 3, 1913, the day before the inauguration of Woodrow Wilson as the nation’s 28th president, thousands of suffragists gathered near the Garfield monument in front of the U.S. Capitol. Grand Marshal Jane Burleson stood ready to lead them out into Pennsylvania Avenue at exactly 3:00, in what became the first civil rights march on Washington, DC. It also proved to be turning point in the fight for the vote. By the early twentieth-century, over 50 years after Seneca Falls, suffragist Harriot Stanton Blatch said the cause “bored its adherents and repelled its opponents.” The 1913 parade introduced new activism, energy, tactics, and leadership to the languishing movement. It also garnered huge national attention, both planned for, and unexpected.

World Athletics bans transgender women from competing in female world ranking events
World Athletics has banned transgender women from competing in the female category at international events.
The governing body's president, Lord Coe, said no transgender athlete who had gone through male puberty would be permitted to compete in female world ranking competitions from 31 March.
A working group will be set up to conduct further research into the transgender eligibility guidelines.
"We're not saying no forever," he said.
Under previous rules, World Athletics required transgender women to reduce their amount of blood testosterone to a maximum of 5nmol/L, and stay under this threshold continuously for a period of 12 months before competing in the female category.

Men Are Sweeping Competitions In Yet Another Female Athletic Category
Biological men are increasingly winning competitions against women in the female categories of cycling competitions across the world.
Women have lost out to male competitors in swimming, indoor track and weight lifting, among other sports. In perhaps the most highly publicized story of a transgender athlete, Lia Thomas, born William Thomas, began breaking records on the University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team after competing for men’s team for three years, ranking 462nd.
