Historical Tidbits: Japan's Oshu Fujiwara Family

This is rare footage from a Hawaii channel about my Oshu Fujiwara ancestors (depicted in the Japanese NHK mini-series Homura Tatsu). The last part is not in English subtitles but definitely appears to be discussing how many speculate that Yoshitsune really didn't die, but managed to escape to mainland Asia to become the Genghis Khan. Also, it is a secret that Jesuits don't want you to know, but I got my Catherine the Great genes from the Oshu Fujiwara, because they came from the Emishi who had secretly intermarried with Vladimir the Great's offspring, who escaped Russia after Sviatopolk came to power around 1000 A.D.

Sviatopolk murdered his own brothers Boris and Gleb, fearing competition for the throne. Boris and Gleb, gave their life as martyrs, in an act of supreme religious devotion, to spare war in Russia. They are revered as saints in the Russian Orthodox church.

Interestingly, Yasuhira (descended from the siblings of Boris and Gleb who escaped to Japan and married into the Emishi), also gave his life as a martyr in order to spare Northern Japan from the ravages of war (when greedy Yoritomo conquered his kingdom for gold). These children of Vladimir the Great came from the same gene pool that would produce Catherine the Great centuries later and that is how Gail (descended from Vladimir the Great) ended up with the genes of Catherine the Great. Yasuhira's children went underground and again intermarried with the Emishi, who became the Ainu. And my mother, with strong Ainu blood, gave me the genes of Catherine the Great.

It's too bad Jews don't worship ancestors, because how King David's children escaped Israel after the Babylonians took them over, and went to Spain, and became an orthodox Jewish family that left for America even before America was founded, would make another fascinating tale. Among their offspring was aviator Howard Hughes (my great uncle on my father's side). Howard Hughes genetic mother was Sabrina (a girl from an orthodox Jewish home and my great grandmother and descended from King David).
