A storm comes overhead causing Ben Franklin to call it quits for the day on his kite experiment until he gets a more storm resistant material. Hoagie offers George Washington an exploding cigar which knocks out his wooden teeth. He offers him chattering teeth as a replacement. Jefferson and Hancock take notice and suggest that George is cold so it's time to build a fire. After the fire is started, Hoagie takes Hancock's blanket and then blocks the chimney with it. The smoke buildup causes the Founding Fathers to flee the room while Hoagie takes the golden quill pen. With oil, vinegar, and gold, everything is needed for Dr. Red to make the super battery. Once it's completed, it needs to be charged. Hoagie gives Ben Franklin a lab coat for kite material then assists him in the kite experiment. He sneaks the battery into the coat pocket of the kite and proceeds to push it into the air. The kite flies for a bit then lightning strikes. The battery is now charged.
