Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, known as Tommy Robinson, is a British far-right and anti-Islam activist. He is the co-founder and former leader of the English Defence League, and later served as a political advisor to former UKIP leader Gerard Batten. Robinson has been active in far-right politics for many years.
On January 17, 2019, Robinson announced his YouTube account adverts have been suspended in a bid to stop the far-right activist generating cash.
And then his Facebook and Instagram profiles were removed because he posted "in ways that violate our policies around organised hate".
Facebook said Robinson's page had "repeatedly broken these standards, posting material that uses dehumanising language and calls for violence targeted at Muslims".
He has been to prison on multiple occasions including in 2014 for mortgage fraud.
